PolluScan is a Swiss company. We do one thing: the system that carries a survey from sampling to signed report — for the firms working on asbestos, PCB, PAH and lead in Switzerland.
A Swiss surveyor is responsible for occupied buildings, carcinogenic materials and reports that carry their signature. For that, they currently have a paper plan, an inbox, a spreadsheet and a Word template.
This is not a discipline problem: it is a tooling problem. Time spent copying sample numbers from one medium to another has never made a survey more reliable — it has only made the error possible.
We built PolluScan to remove that copying, and so that a sample taken at 9 a.m. in a stairwell is already usable at the office by noon.
A feature that has not been tested in a cellar with no signal, wearing gloves, is not finished. Office comfort does not dictate site ergonomics.
A sample with no location is flagged, not silently accepted. A result under the threshold is written “< 0.1 mg/kg”, never “0”.
PolluScan draws no conclusions for you and signs nothing. It gathers the data, applies your templates and leaves you the decision.
DE, FR and IT are not translations bolted on afterwards: the technical vocabulary is the same in all three languages of the product.

After a lunch with professionals from the trade, it was clear that the sector was underserved when it came to software.
Our team met with surveyors to understand their needs, and with laboratories to understand how they work. That let us build a product that meets the needs of the trade and that laboratories can use.
Testing begins with a few surveyors and laboratories. The goal is to validate the assumptions and fix the mistakes before launch.
